Female empowerment is about respecting yourself as a person. From comfortably standing up for yourself, trusting your voice, making decisions that are beneficial to you, and experiencing the freedom and independence that every individual should be able to have.
Our program on female empowerment involve theory, activities and physical activity. If the space allows for it, that physical activity is achieved in the form of boxing. All the boxing activities are non-contact and are designed to stimulate growth; both physically and mentally.
To put it simply, it is hugely empowering to strike an object, and being allowed to do so. Being encouraged to do so. And I wish for every individual I work with to experience that sensation themselves.
